Don’t think I ever forget you, but recently I had a prfessional experience that directly made me think about you. I am in direct contact with people all over the world. Thats why, a month ago I was asked to go to the European Space Agency Tech. HQ in Holand (I did 2 weeks ago) to give a conference to about 40 people representing companies working on the same project I do (people from all around Europe, USA, Japan…). I was speaking to them (of course, in English) for about 3 hours, and it all ended with a large applause! Do you remember the exercises we did on presentations? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! For that exercise, and for all the Youtube videos you also sent us that I carefully watched. My deepest and sincere thanks for all of it, you are a great coach

Recomiendo las clases con Jacqulyn porque son totalmente personalizadas. No solo aprendes inglés, sino que también te ayuda a desarrollar otras habilidades como son: hablar en público, utilizar un lenguaje técnico indicado para tu trabajo. Las clases son muy amenas porque combina conversación, que en mi caso era lo que más me interesaba y a lo que dedicábamos más tiempo, con ejercicios prácticos de lo que necesites. Jacqulyn además de ser una gran profesional, formal y seria, es una persona muy positive y enérgetica que siempre motiva. A mí me ha ayudado mucho a ganar más confianza a la hora de hablar más fluido un idioma que no es el mío y a entender muchos ámbitos de la lengua inglesa que en otro tipo de sitios como academias, etc. no te enseñan.

I have been learning English for a long time during my life and nobody has corrected my pronunciation like Jacqulyn does. There are many words that I will never forget how to pronounce due to her insistence and her method. I have learnt a lot of expressions that I use in my day-to-day work, and all this makes me speak English much more fluently. The most significant improvement has been my skill in presentations. I have learnt how to elaborate a good presentation (keep it simple!) and the most important, is HOW I have to present the content (tempo, volume, pauses, expressiveness, linkers, etc.). In general, I am very happy with my learning and coaching in English with Jacqulyn, since I have noticed that it has been the most productive stage for my English improvement.
I received English lessons all my life, but the difference came with Jacquie. Since I started with her classes, I became confident in my ability, in my English and most importantly, I lost fear: to make mistakes, to have a better or worse accent, to misuseI’ve verbal tenses … All this was for her care and adapted method of study. I have attended the course “Presentación de Proyectos Culturales en Inglés” with Jacqulyn and I can say she is very professional, qualified and dedicated to her work. She masters the methodology of coaching, teaching English as a second language, developing communication skills and empower people in general. During this course I have learnt to trust myself, to give a good pitch, improve on public speaking and my English accent, control my body language, learn English in an easy way and use specific vocabulary about the business world. Now I control sentence intonation and I am clear when I speak. It helped me be more rigorous with myself, including other facets in my life. This immersion course that I attended helped me to build more confidence when speaking. Jacqulyn really focuses on your needs. It is not a grammatical English class; it is an application to your professional life. I learnt how to deal with a phone call, meetings, introduce myself and to other people, to speak up in public and most importantly, I lost my fear of speaking and become more confident. Learning was in a fun way and not routine, and an intuitive way to remember the most important things and doing the self-study applicable to these important things. My major improvement was in speaking. Jacqulyn helped me get my current job through role play practice interviews and helped me improve my CV. She’s got a good character, education and respect for the students. High quality, customized and much better than in academies with teenage students.
I applied for a new job. For the preparation of this application, I thought that I needed some help in order to be confident during the interview, both in the personal questions and the English part of the interview. In my last job I was trained in Business English Skills by Jacqulyn Kowalsky, so I knew that she was the perfect coach for my interview. I had four sessions where all the possible detailed interview questions were prepared. All the typical hobbies question, cinema, sports and whatever of those kind of questions, as well as the most personal ones, for example about previous pressure experiences, the way to solve conflicts, etc. Since the first session the way the coaching was done through “role play”, and this situation made me feel as if I were in the interview itself. All the different questions that the HR manager asked me, were trained during those four sessions. So I can say that largely thanks to this training I got the job in Airbus!”
